Just a few days to go, for all above 18 in Karnataka, to cast their vote. And there are more than thousand questions running in my mind.
Am I given the chance to vote the right person? Or is it again chosing the best among the worst? This is something that has been haunting me every now and then.
Every election we see a new party pops up. New or old what good have they done to any of us? They just fill their bags. They have prospered over the years. And left Indians to grow dirt poor.
There is such major upheavels in countries economy, but our politicians are busy either in building new parties or trying to save thier seats in their respective parties.
When I discuss elections with couple of people, the statements I come across are quite astonishing and also chaotic.
Let me start with the oldest party Congress. A friend of mine says Congress is the most corrupt party and they have ruined us for all these years. At the same time, there is another praising the party for maintaining communal harmony.
The word communal reminds me of BJP, which some feel is hoisting the flag of Hindhutva. But could someone tell me what does this Hindhutva really mean while BJP or any of our lay men use it?
Soon another chap jokingly asks " Is JDS planning to supply free bread if they win this election or are they going to fill it in thier mines godown?" Does this mean the son and the father are going to eye on our daily bread!
As if this was not enough, we have to welcome the new baby in the state - BSP with present elections.
God bless us all and save the world.
Cheerio
